He gives you all the information you need (not the kind you'd find on the internet, but the kind you'd get from someone who's lived in Luxor for generations). We spent an excellent day with him around Luxor, and he invited us to a café at the end of the day to watch the sun set over the Nile. I highly recommend him, go for it!
